Why CURA Was Founded
The way healthcare is delivered across the UK is changing. More care is being provided closer to home, services are becoming better integrated and community provision is growing across both the NHS and independent sectors. The infrastructure needed to support this change is not keeping pace.
Providers face practical barriers when delivering new facilities. They need to secure capital, navigate procurement and manage complex projects, often at speed. Traditional development and funding models can be slow, inflexible and detached from the realities of running healthcare services.
CURA was established to help close this gap. We work alongside operators, investors and NHS partners, bringing together healthcare requirements, property expertise, development capability and capital to turn plans into facilities that work in practice.

Before founding CURA, Andrew held senior development roles with Assura and Primary Health Properties, where he was responsible for major NHS and independent healthcare projects.
His experience spans hospital development, primary care infrastructure, diagnostics, strategic partnerships and healthcare investment. This gives CURA a practical understanding of how clinical, property and commercial requirements come together.
